Hay.chat brand guidelines

The short version: logo files, colours, fonts and three rules. If you're writing about us, that's all you need.

Logo files

Use them without asking; don't recolour or redraw them.

Logo, SVG Full colour, for light backgrounds.
Logo, PNG 1200 px wide, transparent background.
Logo for dark backgrounds, SVG White wordmark.
Logo for dark backgrounds, PNG 1200 px wide, transparent background.
Icon, SVG The blue square on its own.
Icon, PNG 512 x 512 px.

Bale, the mascot

Bale is the hay bale who stars in the Hay.chat blog memes. These avatars are 512 x 512 px PNGs on Hay.chat blue; the press page has the transparent SVGs too.

Colours

Hay.chat blue #001DF5 Buttons, links and the logo square. The logo file itself uses #001BF4.
Ink #0F282C The wordmark and Bale's outlines.
Bale yellow #FFCE00 Bale, the mascot.
White #FFFFFF Page backgrounds.

Fonts

Gabarito Headings.
Inter Body text and interface.

Both are free on Google Fonts. The logo is drawn as shapes, so it needs neither.

Three rules

Don't recolour, stretch or redraw the logo. On a dark background, use the dark-background version.
Leave clear space around the logo of at least half the height of the blue square, on every side.
Write the name as "Hay.chat". Not "Hay", "HAY" or "Hay Chat".
